I'm in 8th out of 10 in my league right now and wanted to make a change or two. A couple guys who have held me back are Lamont Jordan and Hines Ward since they were a couple of my higher picks. LJ will rarely see the end zone this year and has just been getting stuffed overall... and Ward is a risk b/c of the recurring hamstring injury + he's not seeing as many good passes this year. Michael Turner is good, but a backup and I picked him up from the waiver in like week 3. I just made the offer for this trade today and it was accepted. What do you think? Smart choice or no?

I traded
-Lamont Jordan
-Hines Ward
-Michael Turner

for

-Chris Chambers
-Correy Dillon
-Heath Miller

I don't think so. I still have Portis and T. Jones as my RB so I'm not missing out much there. I have Cooley and Ben Watson as TE's and they're already decent.

My WR's however have suffered so I needed a little boost, which is where Chambers should help out. Dillon definately has more of a chance to score TD's than Jordan...
The Raiders are pathetic.

It's tough to say. To me Chambers=Ward I would probably rather have Chambers. I like Jordan better than Dillon b/c Jordan gets all the carries whereas Dillon splits carries and will likely lose more. However, you are right that Dillon is more likely to score a TD so really it is a wash there too. Turner has the biggest upside b/c of LT gets hurt then Turner will be huge but again that's banking on LT getting hurt. Then Miller is just an ok TE and you already have 2 decent TE.

Overall I'd say it's about a wash.

Regardless, I just have no patience for Ward and Jordan to come out of the woodworks and make big plays. I'll have more fun watching someone else, especially when it comes to the Raiders.

jordan averages about 65 yards per game and has 1 td...
dillon averages about 55 yards per game and has 2 tds...

chambers has no one to throw to him.
hines has either big ben (who just started getting good again) or charlie batch (who is a good backup qb).

heath miller is a tight end... you already have good tight ends.

you should have held out for a better trade offer....
