YAFFT: Who to start?

The Chiefs running game is impressive with Holmes or Blaylock, but San Diego has the best run defense in the league...

Barlow is having a decent season, but the Miami defense is solid and he may be giving up downs to the back-up...

Go with Blaylock. KC has no reason to rush Holmes back in, since their season is shot. Barlow will probably be held to 65 yards and a possible TD.

I'll offer advice, even though you're an Eagles fan. 🙂 It may not be good advice though. 😛

Miami's run D is fairly bad. Lost a couple of D-line starters to injury as well. If the Niners were smart and wanted to win the game, they'd probably play smashmouth and run Barlow at Miami all day. But since they're 1-9, not necessarily smart and this is the battle of the two worst, who knows what they're going to do. All I know is that if I were the head coach, I wouldn't want Rattay (not at 100%) throwing into the Miami secondary.

On the other hand, Blaylock did nothing against a competent NE run D, so that is troubling going up against SD. But KC does have the better offense. Hmm... I guess I'd lean Barlow over Blaylock barely...
