Does your league also have to approve trades? Or are all trades just between the two individuals?

We had a case in a league ($50 buy-in) quite a while ago where 1 person was stacked in receivers and the other person was stacked in running backs... a multiple trade later, and 1 person had a last place team, and the other person had a team that costed to 1st place. That pretty much ruined the league and everyone in that group of people quit playing within another year.
