Shawnie is on the block and manager is asking for, but not limited to, RB/WR combo. My backs are weak. Should I take a chance?

I would offer up Peyton in hopes that Leinart keeps producing like he has, but he has Bulger as his primary QB and don't think he's in that market. I was hoping that I could hold onto Peyton until after week 9 for Leinart's bye week. Any suggestions?

Manning, Peyton QB IND
Leinart, Matt QB ARI
Bell, Mike RB DEN
Davenport, Najeh RB PIT
Jones, Thomas RB CHI
Foster, DeShaun RB CAR
Maroney, Laurence RB NE
Washington, Leon RB NYJ
Johnson, Chad WR CIN
Colston, Marques WR NO
Muhammad, Muhsin WR CHI
Johnson, Keyshawn WR CAR
Gates, Antonio TE SD Feely, Jay K NYG
Steelers, DST

your running backs are beyond awful. but i can't even see a combination you could do. i'd say tempt him with the Chad Johnson #1 potential even though he doesn't play like a #1 anymore

Tell me about it. This is only my second year of fantasy. I don't even follow the game. I'm a bigger baseball person. But there's money involved...

I'm currently 4-2 and could easily have been 5-1 against a couple of strong teams in the league. Hey, it could've been worse. I could've taken Lamont like everyone said that i SHOULD'VE done. I'm glad I went my own route.

I would trade away any of these:

Bell, Mike RB DEN
Davenport, Najeh RB PIT
Jones, Thomas RB CHI
Foster, DeShaun RB CAR

I would suggest a Bell/Jones combo, or a Bell/Foster combo.

Laurence Maroney actually isn't doing that poorly. The rest of your backs though... yeah.

And I note that there are some rumors that have Alexander sitting out two more weeks, which is something you should keep in mind. That said, I don't know if I'd get rid of a sure thing in the hopes that a rookie will keep producing at a consistently high level. Considering that Arizona is probably going to have a new offensive coordinator soon, his production might decrease due to him having to learn a new system in the middle of the season.

Try giving up Mike Bell, Najeh Davenport, and Chad Johnson to see if you can get Alexander.

You are right. I can't expect Leinart to keep producing at this level, which is why I would want to wait to offer up Peyton. He's not on the plate at this moment, especially since the other owner doesn't have a need to fill that role. It was merely a thought.

keep this in mind, if you're team is already doing bad, you may want to pursue a different trade for some immediate help or say bah-bye to the playoffs

Who said that my team was doing poorly? Not yet anyway...

BTW, the guy considered offers from everyone. He even approached me and told me that he'd be interested in either T Jones or Foster. So without really offering up much, I went with it. He pulled back from all offers just last night and decided to stick with what he has. He'll be back...
