Our work has setup a fantasy football league for work and this is my first year playing...

Is this typical for defensive scoring (for leagues that have defensive scoring)?

We are using NFL.com

Special Scoring for Defense/STs

BFTD - Blocked Field Goal Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) 6 points

BPTD - Blocked Punt Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) 6 points

DFR - Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (ID/DT/DST) 2 points

DTD - Total Defensive and Special Teams TD 6 points

Int - Interceptions 2 points

KRTD - Kick Return TD (ST/DST) 6 points

PA - Points Against, Total Points Scored
0 - 6 PA = 8 points
7 - 14 PA = 6 points
15 - 21 PA = 4 points
22 - 28 PA = 2 points

PRTD - Punt Return TD (ST/DST) 6 points

SACK - Sack 2 points

SFRTD - Special Team Fumble Recovery for TD 6 points

STTD - Special Teams TD 6 points

STY - Safety 2 points

The thing that bothers me is what happens when a special teams punt returner returns a punt for a touchdown.

It counts as a DTD, PRTD, and STTD (i witnessed this today), giving you 18 points just off of one play.

I understand that punt return for td is VERY rare but should the scoring overlap like that?

Maybe I'm newbie to all this but I just don't see how this is fair.
