i have tomlinson, portis, and stephen jackson. should i even be considering starting jackson? portis had a subpar year last year, and he's always an injury away from losing a few games.

tomlinson is playing at home against dallas.
portis is playing at home against chicago.
jackson is on the road against san fran.

i dunno how good chicago's def is these days. i expect the rams to be up on the niners, so i'm thinking there will be a lot of running involved in the rams offense. however, how involved faulk is in their offense remains to be seen. so who do i start?

It's a close call, but I think I'd go with Jackson based on the 9ers sucking. The Rams should get a lead and run a lot from there. But then again, Martz isn't a grind it out coach, and Gibbs is.

Here is my roster. As you can see, my league is insane. Starting 2 QB, 2 K, 2 DEF, and having the two flex positions. At any rate, I have Travis Henry who I will probably never use (assuming Lee Suggs is healthy by GB and Houston's bye weeks) and I was wondering what I could possibly get for him. I know he's splitting time with Brown, but he's a pretty good (though injury prone) RB, so I figure he's gotta be worth something. I could probably use an upgrade at WR and one guy in the league that is looking for a RB has Todd Heap AND Tony Gonzo.....maybe I could get Heap from him straight up for Henry?

i'm thinking that guy would not bite on a henry for heap deal. unless brown is sure to go down for the year.

I figured as much.....I just thought I'd see what other people have to say. The only reason I thought it might fly is because this guy's RBs are: Tatum Bell, Jerome Bettis, Stephen Davis, and Willie Parker. I took Henry in the 18th round of the draft figuring that either he could beat out Brown during the season and get a good majority of the carries or he would become Tennessee's goal line back. I guess I'll probably have to wait and see what happens with his situation before I can worry about what I can get for him.

I wouldn't... even though you are weak at WR... keep a close close eye on the waiver wire and you can usually pick up a productive WR. Depth at running back is a great great thing to have.

yeah, my hope is that:

1.) tatum bell can be denver's next great RB creation
2.) tj duckett gets all atlanta's goal line calls
3.) ricky williams can come back strong and derail ronnie brown

then i would have a fleet of RB's and trade for an upper tier WR :D
oh, and i know i am not doing do great at QB either, but i think vick and a waiver guy (maybe bledsoe or leftwich) and give me enough to win most weeks. being overloaded at RB is a problem i dont mind having :p
