I played in 5 leagues this year... 4 for money 1 for fun..

I placed as follows:

14 team, 100$ buy in: League Champ (Steven Jackson, Drew Brees, Maurice Jones-Drew)

12 team, 100$ buy in: 11th place 🙁 (Shaun Alexander, Randy Moss, Eli Manning)

12 team, 20$ buy in: 4th place (Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Brett Favre)

12 team, 10$ buy in: League Champ (Steven Jackson, Frank Gore, Maurice Jones-Drew)

12 team, just for fun: 5th place (Mcnabb, Tiki, Westbrook)

League Champ in two leagues🙂 not too shabby...
total buyin: $230
total take home: $730
Profit: $500 🙂

I saw FFT and thought Fast Fourier Transform. Then I realized the T should stand for thread. Then I guessed fantasy football.

$500 is not bad considering you were working on sports the whole time.

I have to wonder though, could you guess roughly how many hours you spent on it? I'd be interested in the "per hour" profit.

Just imagine all the hours that one would watch football, lookup scores, and think about the players stats. The PPH (profit per hour) would be ABYSMALLY low -- easily lower than min. wage.

Haha, yes that definitely would not be one of those "when you love what you do, it doesn't matter how much you get paid" jobs.

Well, when you figure that most hobbies cost you money, it's nice to have one that pays you....

I enjoyed every minute of it, it was a blast... it wasn't work at all for me.

League champ. 🙂

Too bad I didn't play for money...

My starting lineup at the end of the year was Grossman, Harrison, DJ Hackett, Mike Furrey, Larry Johnson, Stephen Jackson, LJ Smith, Robbie Gould, and Miami Defense.

Don't ask how I won. 😛

I was in one league. $35 buy in plus $1 for each transaction. Took first place. I'll see about a $350 payout.

Yeah, so did I. I am a nerd.

Damn, I'm a geek.

I came into this thread expecting a discussion on the fast fourier transform...
