Here's teh scenario:
Keeper League i've had for 3 years
I have Randy Moss
he never plays, as i also have: Steve Smith, Housh & Andre Johnson
BUT, i also have Ronnie Brown from MIA

Someone offered me Chris Chambers for Randy Moss.

Would you do it?

I would hold off until after the trade deadline on Tuesday, just to see if he goes anywhere.
If he stays put, I would trade him for Chambers.

Considering you don't really need either with the other 3 WR you have, I would still do it to cover your byes. Moss sucks balls.

i just pulled the trigger on the trade...with a slight change:
Moss & Balitmore's defense, for Chambers & Chicago's Defense

As said, wait till after the trade deadline. Moss might end up going someplace where he could actually have an impact. Baltimore would be a good spot for him. NE would also be interesting.

i agree with ya Vi, but i couldn't pass up the chance just in case Moss didn't get traded. i think (hope) i actually got an upgrade to one of my #1 starters (Defense), and lost Moss, who would never have played in front of my studs.

appreciate all the feedback guys, keep em comin ;-)

Now that's a good trade. Chicago's D will also be good for years to come. Very young and everyone is under contract except for Briggs.

Otherwise I would have said to reject the trade. You don't need moss or chambers right now, and moss has more upside long term. All it takes is for him to be traded to the right team, and he's once again one of the top WR in football.

Ok, now that you have CHI D, the deal was a no brainer. Well done. Right now, Baltimore has scored more than Chicago(not counting tonights game), but I think that Chicago has a more favorible remainin schedule.

my advice = it doesn't matter.... BUT, if you did care, check to see who each team has left on their schedule and go with whatever team has the easier schedule.

the important thing for me is playoffs (i'm 5-0 right now, so i'm pretty much in no matter what).....

Baltimore's week 13-16 schedule is as follows: @ Cinci, @ Kansas City, vs Cleveland, and then FOR THE FINALS, @ Pittsburgh

Chicago's is vs Minny, @ St.Louis MNF, vs Tampa, and @ Detroit for the finals!!!!! :-D

;-)

Except that if Chicago clinches the division and has an outstanding record, most of their starters won't play the last few games, especially against Det. If they're 12-3 or 13-2 even, they're not going to risk an injury playing the Lions....
