Money league, this guy is 2-6 and in dead last. Rarely scoring over 55 points in a league where you typically need 80+ to win...so I feel his pain.

After this last week, I log in to see that he has made the following moves:

Oct 29 10:46pm M. Sellers (Was - RB) Add Free Agents
Oct 29 10:46pm S. Alexander (Sea - RB) Drop Waivers
Oct 29 10:46pm B. Griese (Chi - QB) Add Free Agents
Oct 29 10:46pm A. Smith (SF - QB) Drop Waivers

Going see what the method to his "madness" is, but I doubt he will even reply. Looks like I've got myself a panzy-ass quitter. :|

Damn.. throwing in the towel in a money league? That guy must have no confidence.

At 2-6, he could still (slim) make the playoffs.

Yea, I just don't get it. He isn't out of the playoffs completely. The guy currently in 4th place is only 4-4, so its a tight race.

plus he sandbags everyone who isnt watching the waiver wire every freakin second because he just dumped good players into the pool.

my league is tough cuz its 12 teams w/ 21 players per team. So there are no free agents worth a damn unless someone gets hurt and half the guys work from home so they can just do FF crap all day. Oh well, Im done ranting (and yes, Im getting my ass handed to me every week, seems like every week the guys we are playing against have career days. The guy a few weeks back had Roy Williams when he had a crazy day @ Bills, and the this week he had Colston who had a crazy good day too. Ok, now Im done ranting).

To downplay or misrepresent one's ability in order to deceive someone, especially in gambling.

Yea, only 10 people in my league but of course Alexander was already picked up. He won't be a happy camper if I have to put him back on the quitter's team.

What makes it even more complicated is the fact that I play the quitter this week. So if I have to lock his team, who do I start to make it fair? Bah!

Presents a real problem especially since it is a money league. I would post the question to the group and see what the consensus is. Recognize that some people won't be objective (like the guy who got Alexander).

If those are his best players, then he is done - might as well remove him from the stove.....

Not his best players, except for A.Smith. in QB position. There are solid options at QB on the waiver wire so to pick up Griese is puzzling the hell out of me. He did play on Sunday, for a brief stint, but only has 45 totoal yards all year. Not a viable option if he wants to contend.

Yea, except for the quitter and 2 other people, most of us are all friends, so we will talk about it and I will decide. My buddy already said he isn't giving Alexander back...so I will just have to take him from him. ;)

While I wasn't paying attention, I couldn't have gotten him anyways. The guy who did get him had 1st priority, so no one else even had a chance.

Yea, I would do the same. He may just not have enough time anymore, which is fine. He needs to tell me and not just drop his starters.

I never did any FF stuff, but wanted to this year and didnt get in. Do some places allow you to pickup partway into a season?

Yep, had myself a quitter. I log back in today and he dropped the remainder of his roster. I had to spend the 10 mins or so locking his account and returning all his players.
