YAFFT: Fitz for Gore?

My receivers are:

L. Fitzgerald
S. Moss
A. Toomer
D. Jackson
C. Henry

My backs are:

T. Barber
K. Barlow
C. Williams

My backs haven't been performing at all. I need help at that position. Is Fitz worth Gore, or more?

I wouldn't do it. Didn't Gore get hurt? What RB's are still avaliable in your league? You might want to try to pick up Morris (SEA) now that Alexander is hurt.

If you still want to do it, trade S. Moss or Toomer

Sep 25 Gore left San Francisco's game on Sunday with a strained abdomen, an injury he suffered trying to stretch the ball over the goal line as he went for a touchdown. Instead, he fumbled the ball and it was returned 98 yards for a touchdown by Philadelphia's Mike Patterson. San Francisco coach Mike Nolan said Gore is questionable for this week.

Advice: After two big weeks to open the season, Gore _ a second-year running back _ had a tough day against the Eagles, gaining only 52 yards on 16 carries, with that crucial fumble, the second straight week he fumbled inside the 5-yard line. Rookie Michael Robinson replaced Gore and scored two 1-yard touchdowns and could become the team's short-yardage back, according to Nolan.

Explains why he just let Patterson go right by him with the ball. Michael Robinson looked pretty nice in that game. Maybe use Robinson for some trick plays?

Ok, obviously I didn't pay attention no Sunday. 😛 Thanks!

Now do I drop Cooley or Desmond Clark for M. Morris?

Although De. Clark might be injured for next week, I would drop Cooley. De. Clark is Grossman's favorite target so far.

Gore is one of the most overrated, overvalued players in FF today. His injury should help correct that, but even still he will NEVER have as much value as he did last week.

Mark my words.
