Last week Favre lost his second receiver, and A. Green is now out of the game for the rest of the season. The 2nd string RB Davenport is out too. And they are playing a pretty good Bengals team.

So it's going to be a complete and total pass offense with Favre possibly having an insane number of yards. But with his #1 & #2 WO's being gone, and no chance of a running game, their will be an insane amount of pass rushing and a heavy secondary defense waiting to pick off passes.

Meanwhile Bledsoe goes up against the really crappy Arizona team and can probably pass all day on them.

unless a team can establish a strong running game (steelers) the bengal's secondary will sit back and pick-off farve all day and it doesn't look like gb will have that running threat today.

as far as bledsoe, i think you answered your own question. az is horrible.

A lot depends on your scoring system. How bad are INT's penalized? The more they are penalized, the more you move away from Favre.

i am picking Green Bay to cover today - the spread is 9.5 and I just can't give Cincy that many points if Favre is still healthy... Bledsoe is a pretty safe bet though in my opinion, especially considering the GB receiver situation. good luck!

yeah Hall of Famer QBs are pretty fun to watch regardless of how the team is doing overall :) like I said though, the NFC North is like a house of cards ready to fall ;)

Yep, went with Bledsoe. Should have played Delhomme though. 3TD's, 341 yards, no sacks, no INTs. That's a hell of a day!

D'oh!

delhomme got me 31 today.

made up for the 'poor' showing of LT. (just 14 points)

i'm up by 30 points with the steelers defense yet to go against the inept ravens.

edit: tony gonzalez finally breaks out and i've got him benched in favor of LJ smith
