I would be trading Dom Davis and getting back Cadillac Williams and Brandon Lloyd. My team is as follows:

QB - M. Bulger
WR - N. Burleson
WR - E. Kennison
WR - K. McCardell
RB - W. McGahee
RB - D. Davis
TE - A. Gates
W/R - W.Dunn
K - A. Vinatieri
DEF- Pittsburgh D
BN - Tampa Bay D
BN - A. Lelie
BN - L. Suggs
BN - B. Leftwich
BN - D. Stallworth
BN - N. Davenport

Thanks.

EDIT: Also, which D should I start this week? Pitt against NE or Tampa against GB?

I'd probably do deal. Davis is not showing any signs of doing all that well this year, while Cadillac has a lot of upside. Brandon Loyd has some upside as well, but he's limited by the SF QB's.

I say do it. Davis is running behind a O-line that lets Carr be sacked again and again and again. They can't block.

Cadillac is the man in TB. Sorry about Lloyd, but Caddy will make up for it.

Sure, because with the shotgun blitz and the zone defense blocking the extreme quadrant angular touchdown celebrations, you're bound to reciprocate your BTU with omniscient 42-rated QFTs.

I'd probably just dump Lloyd after getting him, or drop some other stiff on my team and keep him on the bench.

I don't care about Lloyd, but this is what the other guy offered.

Lloyd is a borderline scrub pile wideout. So the deal is really DD for Cadillac. How much do you like Davis? If you drafted him in the first or second round, you probably liked him quite a bit. He's had a slow start (against two of the strongest D's around) but consider that he has like 6-8 cake matchups against some pretty weak Ds in the coming weeks after his bye. Also, does your league award reception points? If so, you might want to keep Davis. Cadillac, though, seems to be running extremely well. See if the other team can do better than Lloyd. Maybe dangle Burleson (who's hurt but has potential) or Kennison and see if you can get a better WR back. Also, I'd consider starting Lelie over Kennison or Burleson at this point. At least Burleson, who's doubtful this week.

EDIT: Start Tampa against GB. I can see Favre forcing some throws and TB getting some picks. And you never know when one of those picks gets returned for a Def TD.

Agreed. Davis has gone up against two of the toughest rushing defenses in the league, so it's understandable that he hasn't done so well. However, consider this: the Texans' defense is abysmal, and they'll be throwing a lot to keep up with other teams. Williams, however, ran GREAT against the Bills, which tells me he's the real deal. Add to that the fact that his defense is good (which means they'll seldom be in such a position that they HAVE to throw to get back in a game), and you've got a great RB that will put up great numbers.

Lloyd is just gravy for you. He may or may not figure things out this year, who knows. But Rattay is a better QB than people give him credit for.

I picked up Davis in the second round, and recs do count. I thought he'd be a great combo back this year, and I still have some hope for him. However, after watching Pittsburgh (an admittingly great defense) smash through Houstons O-line again and again, I wonder how effective he'll be this year. Burleson is now on my bench, I have Lelie going in his place this week.

Good advice.
