Should I trade Donyell Marshall for Josh Howard. Howard was just injured, but in his last game he pulled down 18 boards! Statistically, he's better than Marshall in almost every category (though not by much). The two things that I'm worried about though is that Marshall is a far better 3 point shooter and one of the best on my team. Not the best, but in my top 3 or 4. Also, Howard just had that injury, so that could always come back to haunt him. For a little background, I am in first place in my league, so it's not like I'm hurting in any categories really. So yes or no?

Tough choice. I think in a complete fantasy value, Howard is a better bet. He has better FG %, better rebounds, and can come up with a ton of blocks every now and then. Last year I had him and there were a couple games where he came up with over 6 blocks in a game. He is a very good rebounder and is just going to keep improving providing he can stay healthy.

Marshall is a nice luxury in that he provides a lot of 3's from a Forward. He has the PF/SF utility which is nice. He's really spotty though. He'll bust out a 25 point game, and then come back with a couple of single digit point nights. He rebounds *ok*, and has a couple blocks.

If you can live without Marshall's 3 point bombing, I think Howard is a better multi-cat guy. FG%, asst, steals, boards, blocks. But, his health is of concern.

Is Boris Diaw still available in your league? That guy has been a multi cat monster for me. 49% FG, 6 boards per game, 6 asst per game, and a block here and there. He's like a point gaurd that rebounds and doesn't have crappy FG%. 🙂

He's taken. But yeah, he woulda been a great pickup.
