Cops dont think like the rest of us.
As an example:
If you articulate circumstances that are suspicious, based on your training and experience, you should not be second-guessed by judges on the ground that the conduct you considered was just a combination of innocent acts.
www.policemag.com
The title of the article is "Innocent Behavior Can Be Suspicious" which all by itself is extremely problematic.
But the very first example is about a kid who wrote letters threatening to shoot people which of course is not innocent and beyond suspicious, its a crime all by itself. So they used an absolutely horrible example to justify their fallacious thesis.
Their conclusion absolutely terrifies me:
If you articulate circumstances that are suspicious, based on your training and experience, you should not be second-guessed by judges on the ground that the conduct you considered was just a combination of innocent acts.
YES! A FUCKING JUDGE SHOULD SECOND GUESS YOU! AT ALL TIMES! You guys clearly arent listening to the will of the people. If a judge is all that stands in the way of brutality and martial law then we damn sure need him to second guess you! Holy Fuck!
The only solution to this problem is something that could never be accomplished: Replace ALL the police at once so their bullshit "Us versus Them" culture doesnt transfer to the next generation.
