YAET

I know I've had a couple posts already about an item I purchased, but I'm just wondering about eBay etiquette at this point.

I used the Buy It Now option on Thursday and won an item. Of course, I immediately payed and now it's asking me to leave feedback. I'm obviously waiting for my item to arrive before I do so, but I've got a question.

Am I supposed to get some sort of message confirming anything? I've yet to receive a message from eBay or the seller, at all. Is something normally sent, or do I just wait? I sent him a PM earlier today, so I'll wait for a reponse then...I'd just like to know.

Yeaj, I'm an eBay newb. This is my first time ever buying anything. The guy has 45xx positive feedback, so some trust is granted. I've got insurance, at least.

If seller printed a label via Paypal, Paypal will e-mail you saying that he has printed a label. If after ten days and theres no response, File Ebay for item not received. seeing as he has two diffrent PP addresses, it looks suspicous. =/

as a buyer, i leave feedback once the item arrives in acceptable condition.

as a seller, i leave feedback once the item has been paid for.

if you paid thursday, he might have shipped on friday. you might get the package by wednesday. if he did not ship until today, wait until friday.

not sending you an email is not against ebay policy. it is nice practice, but ebay gives... 30 days i think... for a seller to ship.

30 days? Whoa! Thanks for the information, though, Friday is a holiday, aswell as Monday, so I would technically not get it until Tuesday. 🙁
