I just noticed that the high bidder on one of my current auctions has the following feedback:

2 positives
1 neutral
4 negatives
2 bid retractions

I wonder what the odds are of me being happy with this transaction. 😉

cancel his bid, you can do that cant you?

I'm trying to figure out to do this. I've already added him to my blocked bidder list but that doesn't cancel his current bid.

7000 to 1, I'd say. 🙁

Bleh, another ebay problem. 🙁 This is exactly the reason I've stayed away from ebay lately. Just not worth the headaches. Seems everyday there are multiple threads here about people getting boned on ebay.

On the other hand, I've had zero issues with craigslist.

Good luck with this AronB.

funny you say that, because there are more scams posted here that originate from craigslist than from anywhere. (do a search on ATOT for nigeria to get an idea.)

ebay really isn't that bad. just because there are a bunch of ebay threads does not make it a horrible service. i've had some really good experiences with ebay lately, but if i posted about them, it would be boring. non-events usually don't get publicized.
