I was selling my cell phone on Ebay, I just posted it last night with an option to buy it now. This morning I get up and check my Email and I get an Email asking if they could buy it for $220. Before I could respond there was another Email stating the Bidding had ended with Buy It Now, the same person asking about buying it for $220.

I checked my Email just few minutes ago and the buyer was asking me If I could send them my Email address to send Paypal but I didn't list Paypal as an option for payment. Only money orders or cashiers check. Again before I get a chance to respond I get an Email from Paypal stating the money has been sent. The money is in my paypal account and so far everything looks okay.

Is there anyway that I can be scammed? This whole auction raises red flags.

I originally didn't list paypal as a payment because Ebay does not allow you to choose if you accept credit card payments or Bank transfers. They said you have to accept whatever form of Paypal the buyer sends. Since I don't want to pay fee's for every transaction I do with paypal I don't want to upgrade my account.

You have every right to decline / refund the payment and advise the "buyer" of the forms of payment you take. If they choose not to send your payment, file a non-paying bidder claim and relist.

if you decide to accept the paypal, make sure you meet all the requirement for seller protection so you don't get screwed and only ship to confirmed address

The paypal was a bank transfer so the money is already in my account.

I'm not sure how she got my Email address probably from Ebay. I had originally stated I'd send it via USPS Priority mail but I don't think the delivery confirmation is enough. I am willing to ship it UPS 2nd Day just to get a legit Tracking Number. The address she stated to send in her Email is the same as her Paypal confirmed address. There was a note on Paypay about being ineligible for protection

Edit: I contacted the buyer and told her that paypal was not an option and they put some kind of dispute on paypal and the money is now gone. I haven't heard from them yet so I don't know what's going on
