The Asus V9999 GE video card...AKA a vanilla 6800 with 256MB of memory and a higher memory clock. $480 and climbing. I'm going to feel bad for whoever wins that auction.

I continued my eBay browsing and noticed under that auction was a similar one that made me cringe...someone was bidding $400 for a 6800 GTO from a Dell pull. The card isn't even as good as a 6800GT.

I'm pretty positive the V9999 GE only comes with DVI/Analog, and not dual link DVI. Besides, it's not being advertised as such and the picture doesn't display it as such, so I doubt a bidder would be thinking that.

well he is selling from canada so he already paid much more for the card than we do in the US. but still ebay is all about making money and he's going to get a good price for something due to the stupidity of others.
