I recently bought a iPod video case from a seller ($6 shipped) with a 4091 feedback score and a feedback rating of 99.4%. The auction stated that multiple colors were available, and I told the seller that I wanted a yellow one. However, without even contacting me, he sent a white iPod video case with a note on the package saying "Sorry, yellow is out of stock." Well, I do not want a white iPod case.

How should I proceed with this seller?

UPDATE: He wants me to ship the item back to him for a full refund. Should I just ask him to pay me shipping and handling for me to ship the item back?

kill him, that'll teach him a lesson

maybe try e-mailing him first though to see if he'll exchange/give money back?

4091 and 99.4%? I'm going to go out a limb and say the seller made an honest mistake. Maybe you should email the seller and explain

What's an honest mistake about contacting before shipment and saying you want yellow, but not hearing back from them and receiving a white one stating they KNEW the person wanted yellow but shipped white instead. There are no honest mistakes, he should refund or send out a yellow one if he gets more in stock. my .02.

There was a note in the package saying yellow was out of stock. It was not an honest mistake.

I would either just leave negative and forget about it for that price, or get him to pay shipping.

No kidding. White, yellow, who cares? Just lend it to a smoker for a couple weeks and they can yellow it up for you.

I would ask for a payment for return shipping along with a full refund. I wouldn't push it though. Check his "left for others" feedback and see if the seller is a douchbag or not.
