YAET: Safe to sell video card to someone from Australia?

Just got this email from an ebayer. Would it be safe to sell my video card to him? What questions should I ask him?

international buyer is nothing buy hassle. it is not safe either.
the other party may get charged custom fees.
 
If it's a popular item, I would just delete the email. It's just not worth it sometimes to ship internationally. It'll be sold to a domestic person anyways and you'll have no worries.
 
I find it sad that we're so worried about getting ripped off that we consider not doing business with another english speaking nation. Sigh.

I've sold to Singapore, England, Australia, and Brazil. Never had a problem as long as they pay first and cover the shipping differences. Keep in mind that most people out of the US buying online are used to dealing with customs, etc.

Just make sure they have references. Even eBay refs are ok in this case. Make sure they're more than a coupla months old, and from legit deals.
