-Won auction, paid within hours of invoice.
-Auction stated item would be shipped as soon as payment was received.
-1 week later, no package, no communication
-emailed seller asked what's up
-no response, disputed charges on paypal...
-refund from seller came within a few hours...

Had it not been for the last part, it would have been an obvious negative, but is issuing a refund right away justification for letting it slide as a neutral? Eitherway, the same info will be left in the eval (what you just read, basically.)

post whatever u want to recieve back...that seems to be the way ebay works...and since u cant go into a dispute without being charged $$$ over feedback its hardly worth it to post a negative

I just got the following in an email:

"I'm going to refund this payment since you are too impatient to receive the
item. It's been 1 week for gods sake."

Nov. 10th - Nov 24th != 1 week. Item was supposed to be shipped immediately. Fvcker gets a negative.

Isn't there something where I can leave feedback on the 2nd to last day and likely they won't have time to retort?

in the email I said I would give him 48 hours to respond before I would initiate the paypal dispute. I waited about 4 days, though.

fact that you got back the money
I don't think its really 100% a negative

you are free to leave a -ve feedback, but that allows him to retailate with his case of giving an instant full refund.
as for the e-mail communication, i believe that ebay actually recommends a 2 week wait for response.

#1. leave a neutral and u'd probably receive no response from the seller.

#2 leave a negative and risk getting back a negative in return

Normally, I'd agree to at least a week, but it had been a week and I hadn't heard ANYTHING... then I gave an extra 4 days to get back to me, but nothing. Funny how fast someone can respond when the money is involved.

I'd give him a negative then.

He professed to have immediate shipping.

If I were you I'd start writing my email to ebay so as to counteract the negative he's probably go to give you.

It's a neg. The refund was "encouraged" by PayPal. If PP hadn't contacted the seller, you'd still be waiting...
