I would wait until the echeck is cleared, with no chance of it being a scam. I would also tell the buyer why you are delaying shipment...out of courtesy

Also make you're you go letter for letter on the seller protection. Might also consider posting to the ebay community boards. You'll get some good advice there.

You never ship before an echeck clears. Paypal even tells you not too...

I live in the Miami, FL/ Jamiaca NY area, why was my order cancelled?
The most likely cause for this is that your CVV2/Billing Address came back to us as an International Credit Card. You attempted to have us ship it to your freight forwarder who will in turn ship it to you where in turn you will get your merchandise and do a chargeback.

I paid with PayPal. Why was my order canceled?
The most common reason that we cancel PayPal orders is that the payee does not have a confirmed address through PayPal.Without a confirmed address, PayPal will not protect our orders.

Um...well good luck, make sure you have money in your account and it's completely cleared and everything and can't be taken back.
 
Dont ship whatever you do until that echeck clears,I had one come up insufficient funds before and the buyer said he ended up needing to spend the money in his bank account,he didnt bother telling me until after I got the email a few days later from paypal.
Luckily I hadnt shipped yet,never heard back from him after that and had to do a non pay bidder form to get my final value fee back.

That's why I always put USA buyers only, fool. I'm not even gonna ship to Canada 'cause it takes a whole damn week.

No way in HELL would I ever ship an item that's worth that much to ANY unconfirmed address. I won't shop any item I sell over $50.00 to an unverified address. Add to that the new Ebay ID, the .kr email address, and other shadiness.. RUN don't walk!


EChecks CAN be charged back, and you WILL lose the money AND the laptop.

You have been warned...
