So while ago I won an auction for a xenon audi headlight ( i bought it for the bulb and balast).

Anyway right after winning I sent the guy an email with my address and double checking that it's not missing anything other what the auction ad had listed. No response.
Couple days later i get an email asking for payment, so i reply with the same question to make sure. No response.
Then I got another email asking for $$, so I sent him another email asking whether he's got any of my messages and making sure the headlight is not missing anything other what the auction said. Again no response.
Today I get another one of his email asking for the same thing and mentioning negative feedback. So I went and sent him an email thru ebay (rather that replaying directly), asking the same stuff I've been asking him this whole week .

So is this guy trying to screw me? I kinda get the feeling he's trying to muscle me to fork money over and he'll just send me an empty headlight housing saying "well you should've asked"...

Oh i'm not asking questions about the item, I just wanna make sure that the listing is correct. In the auction it says that it's missing the cover. If it's missing all the electronics, then the auction listing should say that.

I dont think he's trying to shaft you or anything.... but i really doubt the bulb and ballast are going to be included in this auction. The bulb and ballast itself run $150+... I think he meant the blinker bulbs....

youll most likely recieve the headlight housing... and nothing else...

The auction says no guarantee on the bulbs and the ballast is not pictured. I doubt the ballast is included for that price.

The bulbs are included - read the description - but not guaranteed.

No guarantee on bulbs.

And if you had questions about the ballast, that should have been asked before bidding. This auction ended 11 days ago -- more than enough time... have you gotten the contact information (ie phone number, etc) through ebay? And only your last message went through ebay, none of the previous? Not leaving yourself much room there on the ledge are you??

You should've asked him that question before you decided to bid on the item.
Now you have to pay the man because you agreed to purchase the product.

I replied multiple times thru my regular account, last time it went thru ebay. Either way if you're gonna leave out an important part of the item you're selling, you should mention that. I sold a 98-01 xenon headlight and made sure that i spell out what is and what isn't there.

I agreed to buy the product under the terms listed in his auction ad. If it's missing a significant part like the electronics, then it's misrepresented and void. I've dealt with the same issue before and paypal has always sided with me - basically the seller ended up refund me and I ended up sending the item back.

If he was selling a car and forgot to mention that the transmission is not there, how would that change the situation on hand? He mentions that ",and a little inner side cover mising," but makes no mention of anything else...

well you can sell a car without saying the car has no tranny, you just cannot advertise it as running or as able to move.

how about saying that it's missing a gas cap, but otherwise it's in great shape?

Seller's payment instructions & return policy
Payment must be made, within three days of ending auction.

So... you bid, then ask questions... but entirely ignore this part of the listing.

My mistake on the 11 days part though. It's only been 6. Only twice as long as was given and agreed to when you placed the bid.

I don't know this headlight... is the balast pictured? Is it internal. It's not mentioned in the description, if it's not in the picture or internal and thus hidden and not mentioned why would you think it's included without confirming that first before bidding?

Edit -- Wait a sec...

Buyer Beware! Photo not accurate of product received. No refund.
Hmm.

No Payment sent. Non-Paying Bidder Filed
So this isn't the 1st time you haven't paid for something.

Seller would not sell item due to end price not reaching what he wanted for it.
AND
Tried to lover posted S&H costs after winning item. Should ask before bidding
Oh I love this one... Don't care much for binding contracts do you?
