Question about purchasing a dvd.

I'm about to buy a dvd and the seller is offering insurance for $2.00. He says it's brand new and shrink wrapped in the description.
He states that he will not be responsible for any damages if insurance is not purchased. Will I be screwed if the dvd arrives damaged if I don't pay for insurance or will he be responsible?

 
Take it up with paypal if anything happens, theyll give you your money back, guaranteed, no matter what his listing says.

As far as insurance goes, dont bother. Ive mailed thousands of packages, and the ONE time they screw up, I caused such havoc that they gave me my money back anyway. The way I see it, USPS insurance is a racket...I shouldnt have to pay them extra to make sure they do their job right.
