So I sold my Compaq X1000 laptop on Ebay and the winning bidder has only 1 (positive) feedback. Well I've had good experiences even with people without feedback so I wasn't worried. Now I just got this email from him and I'm very worried:

Dear Mam
i will be glad to make payments, but i need to
notice you that currently i am not in the united
states and it will be awhile why i get there,i am in
asia and i am staying with my family for a few
months,i am terribly sorry for the inconvienience,if
you agree to ship international i will be glad, and
please send me the information of your product and
does it still cover international warranty, thanking
you

This pisses me off since I explicitly stated that I would only ship within the US. Now I'm not sure what to do. What are the chances this person is legit? Any suggestions about what I should do? Here's a link to the auction:

Refund all of his money minues your seller fee's and relist the item. He didn't read the directions. ONLY ship to PayPal verified addresses if they paid with PayPal... if that's an international address and your auction says US only, refund the money minus he seller fee's. It's only fair since he didn't read the directions.

*EDIT* Check out one of my auctions here. I put that disclaimer on every one of my auctions. Not sure if eBay would back me even with that in the description, but at least it makes most people read the whole thing and understand that if they're buying something from me, they're doing business on MY terms.

You stated in your auction that you only ship within the US. Tell him to provide a US address or you'll contact E-Bay.

I smell a scam too. If he really wants the laptop tell him you'll only do it via Western Union or Moneygram transfer. Once the funds are in your hands THEN you ship the laptop. If he refuses to do so then refund him his money.

MINUS the seller's listing fee's. No reason the seller should pay for this moron's fvck up.
