YAET: Help with PayPal Dispute Resolution

Long story short, I have a dispute with a seller over an item, it is found in my favor. All I have to do is ship the item back to the seller, and I get my $ back. So I ship the item UPS, and send the tracking number to PayPal.

I get an e-mail today saying that the tracking number is invalid, even when I have the link sitting in front of me screaming DELIVERED, and that the case has been closed, in favor of the seller. So now I'm out $100, an item, my shipping money, and since the seller is such a goddamn PITA they will obviously not deal with me. They've lied since day 1.

What is my recourse now? Contact PayPal and Chargeback with CC#? It's been nearly two months since the transaction date, I'm not sure this would even be allowed.

Any ideas?

you should've file chargeback directly to your cc, not through paypal. probably sol in this case.
