YAET: Does Ebay EVER remove retaliatory feedback?

I have prove someone bought something used and sold to me as new. They bought it only 1 week ago so DUH...its still viewable in their list of transactions. If i leave -ve she said she will do the same. Any chance Ebay will remove it for me? I'm thinking ebay doesn't give a fvck.

if they don't, it will undermine the entire feedback system... so they should. You wouldn't think they'd give a fvck but they probably want to see their business continue to profit.

Been there, done that, they still don't give a fvck.

I still have a neg from a bidder -3 feedback.

It's not worth $20 to remove a negative feedback. All the positive feedbacks will dwarf the one or two negative retaliatory feedbacks. Just sell more and ignore those negative feedbacks.

by that explanation, there's no point in leaving -ve feedback either then.

Yes I have successfully removed a negative from my record. And I did so striaght through ebay and not some 3rd party service where you pay $20.

Basically, go to their help menu and search for like "removing feedback" or something. I had to fill out this form and selected a reason for removal. The reason was that the person was impossible to contact (which he was) and after about a week, the negative from that d!ck was removed. His is still on his record.

So that was my only negative which was removed and now I have a solid 100% again. yay. This was about 1 year ago.

How long ago was that? I have a retaliatory feedback that I can't get removed...

I have also had to do the same thing. It took a little bit of time but it was removed.
