YAET: Buyer's email address bounces everything

I've recently sold something on ebay and I can't seem to get through to the buyer's email. It keeps bouncing my messages, despite the fact that I've used 3 different addresses to try to reach him. I get a bunch of these

Wed, 14 Jan 2004 11:56:13 -0500 (EST)
TCP active open: Failed connect() Error: Connection timed out
And eventually my server gives up.

What the hell is the matter with this numbnuts? Who uses an email for eBay that can't receive mail?!?!? Now I'm gonna have to call this idiot long distance to get this resolved.

Does anyone know possible solutions for this error message? I assume there isn't much I can do about it on my end...

sounds like a YOU problem and not a HIM problem

Well I've tried 3 separate email accounts on 3 separate domains that work fine with everyone else... so it's unlikely that my servers are causing the problem. I also sent him a message trough eBay 2 days ago and haven't gotten a response.

I can give you free long distance to call him, PM me the phone number you will be calling FROM.

Then I will add you to my list and PM you back a local access number to call.

Free long distance 🙂

Rossman probably wrangled some free long distance when buying his 50lb economy sized laundry detergent and 15 crates of Tangelos from Costco. The manager probably gave a little resistance with the 10% off coupon but then mellowed out when the black Centurion AMEX was waved in front of his eyes.

Must eliminate tenchim, he knows too much 😉

Thanks for the generous offer Rossman 🙂, I don't think I'll take you up on it though since we're both in Canada and my long distance fee is something like 10 cents a minute. It's just the principle of it that bothers me.
