How does one change or remove negative feedback?

Long story short I sent a package which he swore up and down he didn't receive and in a fit of pique left me negative feedback. Then he found it, now he feels bad, and wants to change the feedback....

I learned my lesson, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get delivery confirmation NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

Delivery confirmation won't overcome stupidity. Your buyer would still have sworn he didn't receive the package even if you could show him the USPS website with details about him receiving it.

This is a pisser. Sorry man.

You are allow to make a comment to any feedback that you receive. I know this won't remove the negative but it will allow you null the feedback until/if eBay removes it.

it can be mutually withdrawn through Ebay, it appears that your feedback score will revert back but the comment will remain.

Squaretrade is another option but you have to pay for that I think.

Yeah, always get DC, and don't leave feedback first!

have both of you email ebay about it. Search the help for "removing feedback". It might work if both parties email ebay about it.

i don't think it's possible, but the guy can write a follow-up comment saying that he erred.

I've seen somebody's feedback where somebody made that mistake, and left another one after it, positive, apologizing for it.
