Yes, there are good reasons I see all the time. Just ask a person who has sold a laptop and received $12xx for it only to have paypal yank the funds out 2-3 weeks later because somewhere down the line someone paid with a bad CC or fraudulent funds. Didn't matter that the buyer of the laptop received it and even left positive ebay feedback. The seller is now SOL.

That is this week. I see something similar (maybe of a lesser $$ amount) a minimum of once per month.

paypal fraud does happen, but this guy surely feels he got the shaft from paypal so is boycotting it

just send him a money order , it isn't that much trouble
