bought something off ebay, and the seller is telling me it takes ten BUSINESS days to ship. I dont know what kind of shipping this guy is using, but I have alerted my neighors to be on the lookout for a crippled snail dragging a DVD behind it.

Seriously though, 10 days? When I ship, it usually gets to the person within 4 business days.
 
Sometimes they put that up because they have a huge inventory and for sale base on ebay. They probably run everything by one or two people and maybe they can't get to the post office in time. But I do think that they should be faster. I usually have to wait one to two weeks before I actually get my item via USPS Priority mail.

sounds like an old school mail order operation. anyone else remember ordering things from catalogues? fill out that form and paying with a check...

 
Usually small businesses in rural areas will post this kind of thing....it always means 10 business days to actually bring it to the shipping location, not for you to get it.

I have usually gotten my best deals from these kinds of outfits.
