YAEQ: My bulb blew

Well this is driving me nuts actually. We have a ceiling fan in the computer room which has a light on it. Well I was walking in there one day to get something flip on the light and FLASH! I thought crap and no big deal really. Well the next day I attempted to replace the light bulb. Get it out put new one in flip switch...nothing. Throw that one away put in another....nothing. put in yet ANOTHER and nothing. I cant figure out what the problem is. I saw a blue flash if that means everything and the wires look ok to me. Ideas of what happened and how to fix? Gets annoying trying to reach the lamp to light up this room :|

erm, did you check the fuse box, if any of them are tripped?

the fuse box wouldnt hold a breaker for ONE fan. sides the fan blades spin just the light doesnt work
