We all know EBay; we know it well.

Then how come, after reading my auction, in which is CLEARLY defined the shipping price AND method of shipping (I.E. item ships via UPS for $20) do you email me with crap like this?

Hi. I'm Joe Schmo; I won your auction for Computer Part 123. I have an alternate shipping addy..and oh yeah, I know you said ships via UPS, but can you ship via FEDEX? I like it better. Oh yeah, can I get a break on shipping? I know that FEDEX is way cheaper, so you shouldn't have to charge me as much.

You fcking little dirtbag!!! :mad; Shipping fees were listed, clearly and un-bullshittedly. :mad;

Why do you bid if you don't like the way I do things? Fcktard.

ps
And AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES it's a bit late to negotiate prices. Retard. "A bid is a legally binding contract." <--it's amazing how many people ignore that

Well I guess I could see the alternate shipping addy, I have had to tell people that before, and I can see a request for a different carrier, which could result in a different shipping charge, but claiming that Fedex costs less is usually not true.

He shouldn't have asked for a break on shipping.

What part are you shipping?

I have been a buyer much more often than a seller; so I can see the buyer's POV on many issues.

What kills me is that there's this drop down menu option; "Ask seller a question" that you can use to ask anything....anything at all. It's like Zombo.com or something. I've had prospective buyers ask me things before the sale...as it should be!! I've done the same. Some people are just idiots, I guess.

ps
What I was shipping/selling was a 25-pound car audio subwoofer. But, an "item" is an item..as long as it's not somethign huge like a boat/car or somethign.

pps
Once you've WON an auction, it's too late, legally and morally, to start negotiating for ANYTHING, IMO.
