I know this place is pretty anti-EBAY, has anyone else noticed the huge price increases? I'm not talking fees, or charges. I'm talking the selling price, I used to go to ebay to find deals on all sorts of things, not it seems like it would just be easier to buy from a trusted retailer and pay what people on ebay are charging than risk being scammed.

Thoughts?
 
what are you looking for? sure, some people are going to sell for the same as retailers and stuff but most of the time i can get stuff for a few bucks cheaper at least.
 
yep, prices are higher because ebay is more popular. about half of my items I sell go for 10% or more over retail. Buyers are weird like that
 
Latley I have been searching for a few different items for a trip I may be taking soon, things like a digital camera, some books, random things. I have just noticed a trend in rising prices, I remember when I got stuff pretty cheap on ebay and loved it, now it seems like it just as much or more than retail.
 
I mostly buy Golf Items in Ebay.. lot cheaper and more selection.

Some things I will not buy from ebay.. example: I bought a returned item dehumidifier from local Sears for less than half the price.. shipping will kill you on ebay..
