(remember we are not buddies)

1- I email friend confirming Superbowl party time as 2:30 instead of 5:30

So, which is it?

Host and friend are same person, but we are not buddies just know each other causally...may be meet through other friends ONCE in TWO months.

And you call that a friend? You have a loose interpretation.

While I do think his response was a bit harsh, I don't quite understand why you would email the host asking about details that he already outlined in his invitation. What were you expecting as a response? Were you afraid he changed plans without telling you?

B/C OP doesn't watn to stay there 9 hours or so b/c he's whiny like that.

He emailed in the hope that the time might change some so he woudln't have to stay 9 hours. But why he feels obligated to stay that long is beyond me. I guess it hasn't dawned on him that if he wanted to....maybe, just maybe he could leave early.

OP is a baby.

Why uncomfortable being at his place that long? Have IBS or something?

If not, then what does it matter. Go or don't go. Show up early and leave whenever. Show up late and leave whenever. What does it really matter?
