call verizon to activate it, they say another number is already attached to it.

i email the guy i bought it from, he says, it's attached to a number from his previous employer, they have been paying on it for the last 6 months and no one has been using it.

what a waste of money.

he's offered to let me ship it back to him at his cost and he'll refund me, but i've asked him to call his former employer and have them deactivate the card.

if he does it, then it isn't stolen. if he doesn't then i ship it back to him at his cost.

ya, i specifically asked him if his former employer wanted the card back.
