OK.. there's this auction that I'd LOVE to jump on, but the circumstances are very suspicious and I'm not planning to bid because I don't think there's a way to cover myself. The auction is not covered by ebay's protection policy, and further the seller ONLY accepts money orders. He is in the US at least. but in this circumstance... am I correct in assuming I have zero recourse if the guy pulls a fast one on me? I should also point out that he claims his account was stolen and he just got it back and he's only accepting money orders because he's had problems with people using PayPal. The last guy who bought from him only received an empty box after sending $800. The seller claims the guy who stole his account is responsible for that.
