YADSR (yet another desktop support rant)

When you install non-company approved software and proceed to screw up the software that is company installed do NOT do the following:

1.Call and ask me to help you get the non-company approved software installed and working.
2.Call and complain about how the software that you or your kid installed on the laptop has screwed up my software and that I have to now fix it
3.Call and tell me my software "just all of a sudden broke" and then after 20 minutes of trying to figure out why I find out it doesn't work, I find out that you "just of all a sudden" installed some software you were not supposed to.
4.Call and complain about how crappy my software is b/c you installed some crap on the laptop that broke the software that the company has installed.

Company laptops are not your personal test beds for trying out new software, nor are they your kids Internet and gaming machines!!!
