The deal from dell ends today. Why should I have dual screen..convince me!!!

I have a 2005fpw, and I still make very good use of my older 17"LCD and 19" crt that are attched to my main comp.

Well..if you are on the computer a lot, and you have the extra money around..then..why not?

Because you can be watching a movie on 1 screen and browse the net on the other, or you can leave a winamp window open with your whole playlist on 1 screen and do your usual tasks on the other.

Because you actually need it for work? (Database development, lots of cutting and pasting, content creation?) That's how I justify it.

Yeah development would be nice...maybe if someone is running the VS.net ide in dual send me a screencap!

One for mutimedia and one for work/browsing/windows stuff. Worth every penny. I can't wait to get my VS 22" CRT back so I can have duals again! That's at home, and I have duals at work for development as well. There's no way I could do without it - and if they did give me only one monitor, I would have brought one in from work to compensate.
