YADCT: Did I do well or get ripped...EDIT: Totally WRONG package arrived.........!!

EDIT: They sent me the WRONG battery pack, and the case didnt show up either. Called them very angry, they will now send me the correct battery pack, which actually costs about $60 more than I paid for according to the website. They will also include the case and do one day mail on it. The first package actually arrived about 18 hours after I ordered it.

This is crazy...


Yet another digital camera thread....


I started the day expecting to spend about $400.

Instead, I got this: Nikon coolpix 5200, case, 256 SD (30x), 3yr extn war, 4 batts and charger, 1 day air = $640 shipped 3000 mi.

Considering the camera alone is $560 after tax at BB, I feel I did pretty well...

Still.. I feel bad about the extra 240.....

Comments?EDIT: SHOULD I PAY MORE AND KEEP THE WARRANTY OR BUY FROM NEWEGG?

Well, but considering you need an SD card to take more than 5 pictures thats at *least* another 50-70. Also, I absolutely had to have next day air or get it at a retail store.
 
Yeah, you got ripped on that extended warranty. You won't need it, and if you do, those internet camera shops are notorious for running you in circles on the warranty, until you give up. I would return the camera immediately after you get it, get the refund, and buy the camera, flash card, and rechargables seperately.

Just did some more math... If I had bought from BB- I would have ironically paid exactly 640 for the same card and camera. So as a bonus I got the warrenty, the batts, the case...

😕

Am I the only one who ruminates over purchases like this? haha

Stop justifying yourself, you got burned.
 
You could have gotten all of that from Newegg for <$500. Like I said before, that warranty you bought is useless. Cut your losses, now. Order all from some place else, and cancel your current order.

Shit.. you're right. I could get what I got (minus the warranty which Newegg doesnt offer) for $560. Does newegg do tax to CA?
 
Ok so the question now becomes should I cancel and drop the warranty.......
