It's not a due date, duh! It's just an estimated date and the driver will only bring it today if he has time, etc.

He had plenty of time. And it's a 2-day package. This being the second [full, 24-hour] day. Should've clarified that at first.

At least you've still got tomorrow if it doesn't get there today. Nothing sucks worse than when it's a personal item that you wanted to get BEFORE the weekend (a la anything from NewEgg) so you get upgraded shipping EXPRESSLY for the purpose of having it here by Friday at the latest . . . . and then FedEx turns around and screws up and then you don't get it until Monday. I've had that happen with them several times. I finally figured out the best way was to have everything shipped to my office. There's a receptionist here to sign for things and FedEx DEFINITELY tends to go out of their way to take care of their business customers. They don't seem to have quite the same glowing track record on their residential routes in my experience.
