I have a 2000 Ford F-350 diesel. Heater has worked fine for the 8 months I have had it. Now the heater is still producing warm air, but will only output through the defroster. No matter which output I pick (including AC) the air always comes out of the defroster vents. I can switch output to off and that works, so it isn't the knob getting stuck. Any ideas?

I assume that the little plastic diverter is not moving. I assume it's motorized and that it's going to be very difficult to actually get to.

The vacuum relay under your dash is either bad or one of the vacuum tubes leading to it is bad at the relay itself or under the hood.

Oops, you are correct, F-350s are vacuum-operated.
