I am curious, what is up with people trying to make a 4 door sedan a sports car? look at the charger, the srt4, the impala SS mid 90s edition, and the average 4 door ricer, wtf is up with that?

edited to add another 4 door sports car but still dont have an answer

Apparently demand is low for a 2 door coupe thesedays.. I personally don't care, I like the practicality of 4 doors.

Just because a car has 4 doors, doesn't mean it's not sporty.

M5 anyone?

It's for the people that need to buy a family car and want some performance. Not everyone can afford a limousine to cart the family around on trips, and a ferrari enzo for when they want to tool around town in style.

Hey, I'm currently driving a charger. I'm throughly impressed with it. TONS of power, the auto gearbox doesn't search for gears, the ride is ultra-comfy...and it looks SO GODDAMN MEAN on the road. Pull up beside a ricer, rev that hemi, drop the hammer and you're gone in a flash. I love this car.

i wasn't complaining about 4 door cars with power. I was wondering why there isn't alot of actual sports cars any more. btw, roadsters need not try to be a sports car

Bingo. I don't have a family yet but I still prefer sedans...besides, cheaper insurance and its more discreet so the popo won't notice you as much😉
