If you want pretty good results it's not that much work. Just wash the car and then apply a coat of Z1 (or use ZFX) and then apply a coat of Z2. The Z1 and ZFX helps the Z2 bond easier to the car so it shines better. I actually didn't use Z1 or ZFX but I think it's recommended that you do. After you apply Z2 just buff it out once it drys.

So it's not too bad.
1) Wash the car
2) Apply Z1 or mix ZFX with the Z2
3) Apply Z2
3) Buff it out.

Zaino says that it lasts 6 months but I put a refresher coat every 3 months. The great thing about Zaino that it's a breeze to buff out, I tried Klasse Sealant Glaze on my Passat today and it was a PITA. With the amount of work and effort to do one coat of Klasse I could have done 4 coats of Zaino.

Sweet! What did you use to apply the Z2 with?

It was too dark to get a pic of the Passat when I was done with it :(

Fixed link?

wow, your car is the same color as my accord (mine is 2003). I guess at ~$30 bucks to start it's not that bad, maybe I'll try some if that's how it looks.

Damn, that looks good! I've been meaning to order some Zanio for some time now but I really freaking hate waxing :( This might push me over the top though :)
