YACT: yes, another one

Ok, so I'll be graduating in December and I'm getting tired of my 98 Civic. I've been looking at cars for a while now but can't decide. I think I change my mind every other week. I'm looking to stay in the low 20,000's. Here's what I've been looking at:

Used Pontiac GTO:

Great power for the price. The 05's are going for like 22,000. I'm worried about the rear wheel drive. Handling 400 RWD and 3 or 4 months out of the year here in MD are raining and snowing.

New VW GTI:

Always like German cars, and like the new GTI's. Little worried about the maintanance, but I pretty much know what I'm getting into since I owned a VW Corrado before.

Used Saab 9-3:

Here's the newest addition to my list. But I don't know too much about the Saab since I never really looked at it. The 04's and 05's look really nice, and have some good power. How is the reliability with Saab, anything like VW?

Still have a couple months to decide so we'll see. Anyone have a 3 sided coin?

They're made from jets!

Personally, having driven all of the cars you mentioned, you simply cannot beat the combination of power, ride/handling, interior and price of the GTO. I had one for 2 years through Michigan winters and only crashed once! (Didn't have winter tires on when the storm hit during a party.) 😛

If you're concerned about reliability, why not see what kind of deal you can get on a new 06 that's sitting on the lot as you'll get GM's new 10 year warranty.

what the hell did people do for the first 80 years of the automobile's existence when it was raining and they were stuck with rwd?
