Alrighty, well after many stupid threads on "what car do I get!?" and tons of other bullsh*t...I finally got a car. It can be seen here. And YES, it's an auto...but I figured that at what I'm paying, a Goat with an auto tranny is better than most anything else I was looking at. Parents work for EDS, so I get GMS pricing...$999 down, $229/mo with tax...2 year lease, 12K miles a year. I don't care what any of you have to say about the auto tranny or the lease...I'm loving my car.

The weather sucked today though, so the pix are gloomy...I'll take some on a sunny day. I'm gonna take it to the top of a parking structure tonight and hopefully get some decent nighttime shots.

My other new toys are this and this. I've had the sub for 2 days now, and the DVD player's on its way. Combined with my Paradigm Studio setup, the sub is absolutely perfect...I can compress the air in the room rather easily. 🙂 And yes, I have my reasons for going with this and not a venerable SVS.

Unless someone's getting married on here today, I do believe that I'm the happiest 22-year old on ATOT right now. 😀

[edit]sorry, saw that and had to post--been reading allkinds of bad things about EDS lately and seeing that in a new car thread shocked me. Congrats on your new car lease. Be careful driving it. [/edit]
 
hehe, it's okay, my mom's under contract with GM for a while and my dad's been there 15 years so he's never been worried about his position. But yeah, it's supposed to be what, 15% of employees next year? Oy.

And what, no comments on the sub? It's a Velodyne Digital Drive 12 for those who can't tell 🙂

I'm waiting for my truck to be paid off before I go get my "toy". Still on the fence between a GTO and a new Mustang GT. I like the Goat's power ... but you gotta love that new Mustang style.
