Hmmm.....this link specifies chain rear drive and independent rear suspension. I think the S600 roadster was a different animal than the 600 coupe.

Yeah....but I wonder how the chain final-drive would hold up under the kind of punishment I'd give it 🙂

edit: hopefully they were smart enough not to use the chain on the pickups....can't really tell from that site.
