1) Theres lots of fluid still in there.
2) Possibly frozen?
3) When I press the button, the windshield wipers go but no fluid
4) I can hear the pump, and sometimes a little tricke of fluid will come out

I'm thinking its frozen? It was -2F this morning. Argh how can i unfreeze it? This is really annoying.

UPDATE
well its leaking, i kno cuz i filled it up this morning and now four hours later its half empty and i didn't even use it. Grrr any idea how much this will cost to fix?

Most likely frozen. You can un-freeze it by heating it. (Duh.) Normally what happens is snow or ice from the outside clogs the nozzles, accumulation of road salt may also clog the nozzles.

Park your vehicle in a heated garage, then go out and buy premium low temp washer fluid.

Of course you can always just piss all over it until it starts working again :p

more than likely you have a small pebble stuck in the jet.

same exact thing happens to my car all the time, To fix it i fire up my air compressor, remove my washer fluid tank, put the air nozzel on the washer jet and blow out the lines.

works every time. until another pebble gets in my lines.

***Edit, if you are using regular washer fluid that stuff is rated to -20. so i dont think its frozen.

I had this problem, turned out it was that little one-way valve in the tubing rusted up. I just replaced it with a straigh through piece.

one way valve is the non-return valve

With out it I just need to press the spayer button a little longer since it had to fill up the rest of the tubing.

unfortunetly i don't have access to a heated garage.

i'm using some cheap ass washer fluid i got at a gas station because i ran out on a road trip. Hmm so try and heat it up and then get some better fluid?

If fluid froze in the line or the tank it may have burst a connection or damaged a seal or the motor. The parts themselves aren't very expensive. I just replaced the washer motor on my Isuzu with a generic washer motor for $15. It took a little doing to make it work (running extra hose, bolting the motor to the chassis and figuring out how to connect it to the tank). If you have some basic tools and the ability to figure out how things work you should be able to fix it yourself-or really muck it up! :D
