YACT: Windshield Wiper Fluid problems...

I have a 95 Protege...

Just wondering about a problem, I filled up with fluid and fluid still doesn't come out when I press the lever...

Any ideas on how to fix this problem or am I just screwed...

Thanks in advance

If you have fluid at the nozzle hose connection, your nozzles might be plugged. Using a needle clean the openings at the nozzles and them blow them out. Reconnect the hose and check the operation.

If you don't have fluid coming out the hose, disconnect the hose at the pump and back flush the hose with compressed air or water. reconnect the hose an check the operation.

Please post your results. 😉

your jets might be plugged. My car has the same problem right now. I fix it by getting out my compressor and unhooking the line from the resivoir and blowing air the reverse way to blow out the small pebbles that plugged up the jet hole.

You might have wax in your nozzles.

Also look down in the filler hole of the resevoir at the bottom, there should be a screen. See if it looks clogged.
