YACT: Which ghetto ride should I buy?

Whatever one has the 3800 engine in it. If neither hasone I would search ofr one with it. Look for a Regal LS or an older Grand Prix.

All things being equal - go for half the miles.

That's basically a no brainer. But I'd shop around a bit. How much of a beating are you going to take selling your current car? You'll probably lose $5,000+ or more selling in. Is it really worth it?

I have a 98 Lumina LTZ with a 3800 @ 67k miles. Mmmm, torque + ~27 MPG

I've decided to sell it and buy a decent beater to get me around for a while. Now considering I drive so much, which of the following would be a better buy for my driving habits?

1999 Chevy Lumina with 126K for $3695 or
1997 Chevy Lumina with 68K for $3995

I can't decide if I'd be better off going with a lower mileage, older car or a newer, higher mileage one. I feel like the higher mileage one would probably adapt better to my abuse, but it's nearly twice the miles as the other....any thoughts?

i thought this would be a thread about escalades 😕
