I drive quite a lot (25K+ a year) and I no longer feel like paying as much as I do per month to simply drive my a 2004 Grand Prix GT2 into the ground. I've decided to sell it and buy a decent beater to get me around for a while. Now considering I drive so much, which of the following would be a better buy for my driving habits?

1997 Chevy Lumina with 68K for $3995
I can't decide if I'd be better off going with a lower mileage, older car or a newer, higher mileage one. I feel like the higher mileage one would probably adapt better to my abuse, but it's nearly twice the miles as the other....any thoughts?
